ibis Porto Centro São Bento

Location: good. It´s central and helps to walk almost everywhere in Porto. There´s a convenience store right there in case you need anything. Room: it´s OK, but quite small. I guess it is aligned with the price. Staff: very friendly!

The staff was great. Due to our other accommodation getting cancelled at midnight, we were worried we won't find a place. Ibis hotel confirmed our reservation immediately and we had no issue checking in past midnight. The wifi was reliable and the room very quiet. Bonus: there is a supermarket literally 10 seconds away from the main entrance of the hotel. This was very useful!

My colleague and I enjoyed everything about this hotel; the friendliness of the arrival, the simplicity of the check-in procedure, the cleanliness of the rooms and the variety of food available at the breakfast. The location was to our liking, only 10 minutes walk from Sao Bento station. It was a very enjoyable visit.

Special shout out to Joanna at the reception who helped me, disabled, with my heavy bags, gave me a cookie and with my coffee on the way out. This is 5 star high standards and I will be coming back and recommeding this Ibis. Obrigada!

The location was very good. Less than a block away was a large, lively square with numerous restaurants, cafes and bars. Metro station was about a 10-minute walk along a mostly level route. A walk to the heart of town took perhaps 20 minutes, all downhill. Of course, the walk back is uphill but you can take the Metro. The room was quiet. Breakfast was large and delicious. Attached to the hotel was a large supermarket that stayed open until about 9 p.m.
